Noir Premier Concierge and Excursions invites you to join us for a Broadway theatrical afternoon performance to see “Purpose” written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. Purpose will be the Directorial Debut by acclaimed Actress Phylicia Rashad. This matinee performance (2:00 PM), follows the fictional Jasper family who, for decades, have been a pillar of Black American Politics: civil rights leaders, pastors and congressmen. But like all families, there are cracks and secrets just under the surface. When the youngest son Nazareth returns home to Illinois with an uninvited friend in tow, the family is forced into a reckoning with itself, its faith, and the legacies of Black radicalism.

The star studded cast includes Latanya Richardson Jackson (two-time Tony Award-nominated stage and screen actress, director and producer), Harry Lennix, Kara Young (2024 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play) and others.

Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2 pm. Orchestra at $180.00 (15 seats) and Front Mezzanine at $170.00 (15 seats). All ticket payments are due by March 15, 2025.

How to retrieve your ticket(s) and additional performance information
  • Where can I pick up my ticket? Tickets will be distributed 45 minutes prior to the performance outside of the theatre.
  • Tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged.
  • Are seats roomy? Please keep in mind theatre seats are snug as most theatre's are old. If you require additional leg room please request an aisle seat. Note, all requests cannot be accommodated and are based on availability of the theatre.
  • Mezzanine seats are located upstairs and most theatre's do not have an elevator so patrons with mobility issues should consider purchasing an orchestra seat.
  • What time does the performance start? This matinee performance start on time at 2:00 SHARP. Patrons are STRONGLY encouraged to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start time of the performance.
